藤原兼房・二十五代
Description
Fujiwara Kanefusa XXV was a contemporary swordsmith who inherited the prestigious Kanefusa name—a lineage of Mino Province, Seki, stretching back to the Muromachi period. Upholding the classical techniques of Seki swordsmithing while answering the demands of modern standards, he produced high-quality blades characterized by flowing itame jigane and the gunome-midare hamon of the Mino tradition. The Kanefusa name is one of Seki's most recognized lineages, and the twenty-fifth generation carried the responsibility of transmitting its prestige and craft standards to the next generation. He participated in contemporary sword exhibitions and was recognized as an accomplished custodian of the tradition.
