Isono Kazumasa

Isono Kazumasa (1523-1573) was a Sengoku-Azuchi-Momoyama period warrior who served Asai Nagamasa and was known as one of the "Four Wings of the Asai." He was the lord of Sawayama Castle in Ōmi Province, strategically positioned to control the border with Wakasa Province. Kazumasa distinguished himself as the vanguard commander of the Asai army and earned renown in fierce battles against the Rokkaku clan. He demonstrated exceptional martial prowess during the conflicts with Oda Nobunaga's forces.
